Panther Prowl

The Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2019 was held on June 4th in Panther Stadium. It was great to see our graduates in their red caps and gowns with the look of anticipation and excitement to be moving on to their next chapter in life. Just announced today was a list of 16 CNUSD schools that have earned recognition as 2018-19 Honor Roll Schools for maintaining a high level of student achievement...and Corona High School made the list! I am proud of the work our teachers and staff put into supporting and preparing our students for college/career.

Towards the end of this Panther Prowl, you will find some flyers with important information regarding the 2019-20 school year, including registration. Please be sure to read through those.

In addition to saying good-bye to our graduates, we are also saying farewell to some of our staff members either due to retirement or transfers to other sites. I want to thank them for their support of our students, regardless of their respective roles.

• The Athletics Office will close Monday, June 10th. This will be the last day to turn in physicals/athletics clearance packets for summer try-outs. See flyer below for sports and corresponding date(s).

Calling ALL Corona High School graduates! Please join us for the Annual All-Alumni Reunion held every third Sunday of July in our Fieldhouse (just west of Panther Stadium). This year it happens to fall on July 15th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Given our history, Corona High School is very fortunate to have multiple generations that can call themselves Panthers. At many parent events I often ask for a show of hands of those that have graduated from Corona and sure enough, there are always several hands that go up. Well, if you are one of our graduates of the Class of 1979, your 40th reunion is coming up! Please see the flyer below for more details.

Mark your calendars now for our first-ever districtwide College and Career Fair to be held at Santiago High School on October 16, 2019. This will be a collaborative effort of all high schools in CNUSD to promote college and career preparedness.
