- Align with research goals (promotion, enhanced status)
- Access additional L&T Assistant support for implementation, evaluation and evidence-based reporting
Initiatives available Semester 1, 2022
Propose or join an initiative and leverage LTA support in 2022
TechDems Digital Learning Initiatives allow participants, with the support of individualised Learning and Teaching Assistants, to address an opportunity or barrier within their course or other student-facing implementation.
Initiatives will involve the selection of a relevant digital affordance/s and pedagogical approach. Each initiative will be supported for the length of the semester’s implementation, when LTA assistants will then work with academics to evaluate the impact of the initiative. (Many of our previous TechDems participants have aligned this process with research goals - browse the 2020 TechDem initiatives)
Initiatives should be aligned with the goals of the USQ Academic Plan or strategic initiatives such as First Year Experience, employability, Work Integrated Learning, digital literacy, student engagement, virtual campus and so on.
