Bethel Sunday School

We are learning how to protect ourselves and others during this COVID-19 pandemic. In doing this, we have lost a year of “being together” in person. The Bethel Reopening Task Force (BRTF) has seen the need for Bethel’s women to plan gathering in person again. Following Bethel’s guidelines for COVID-19 social gatherings, a committee has met to plan a Bethel’s Women’s Group.

We see this intergenerational group as being a spiritual/social fellowship gathering of all ages, including Grandmothers, Granddaughters, Mothers, Daughters, Aunts and Nieces, Sisters and our Women Friends. Beginning by gathering monthly, on Saturdays or Sundays.

Your input can make a difference: What do you see this group doing. How can we help each other during these social gatherings? Do you have a talent you would like to share? Is there a community project we need to address? Could we gather around Bethel’s fire circle for some singing or story telling? Is there a need to learn answers we could find by working through a Bible study together? There is acting talent among us, come forward and help be a part of a skit. Could we invite speakers to address topics we want to know more about? Game night?-games are fun and teach us to follow rules and create team strength. Brainstorming ideas can be a fun event in itself! Be a part of June’s social hour. Come and enjoy an hour with your Bethel Sisters.
