Beckwith Middle School Update
September 2, 2022
We are excited to note that the first day of school for Beckwith students is only five days away (Wednesday, September 7th)!
Please note that when all incoming fifth grade students enter the building on the first day they will need to go directly to the Cafeteria where they will be directed by their teachers as to where to go and what to do.
Students in grades six, seven, and eight will go directly to their homeroom if exiting off the bus. If students arrive via private transportation between 8 and 8:10, they will go directly to the cafeteria where they will be released to go to their homeroom per usual (see New Drop Off and Pickup Procedures below). Students who take private transportation and arrive after 8:10 a.m. will go directly to their homeroom.
Staff will be available to help students find their homeroom. Students can find their homeroom assignment by logging into the Aspen Parent Portal (click the Follett Aspen picture below to access the portal). Please don't hesitate to contact the main office if you need assistance with the login.
Sincerely,
Stephen Donovan, BMS Principal

FREE SCHOOL MEALS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR!
Universal Free School Meals has been extended in Massachusetts for the 2022-2023 school year! There will be no cost to families for students to receive breakfast and lunch at Beckwith. There is a charge for snacks. Although meals will be available to all students at no cost, we continue to ask all families to complete eligibility paperwork which can be found below. School funding and competitive grants at the state and national level are dependent on accurately capturing our student population, and the completion of this confidential paperwork is important for our school and our district.
