Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated with us last week during Open House and College Signing Day. Congratulations to those students and parents who won prizes during the Open House raffle! Our celebrations continue with Prom this Saturday and Graduation next week on the 3rd.

Finals week is next week, the week of May 31st - June 3rd for 9 - 11th graders - don't forget to work with your fellow students, tutors and teachers to end the year strong. If you need help to stay motivated OR to study - we are here for you! Reach out to your teachers, counselors, Educare workers and me for help, strategies, advice or just to vent!

• Seniors - please complete their 2 exit surveys this week. Here is the STEM Exit survey (very important for our grants, about 85 seniors have completed it so far!) and the LAUSD exit survey for which the QR code is pictured in the corner (important to enable post-secondary data).
• We will hold an emergency Governing Board/SSC meeting on Monday, 5/23/2022 at 5:30 PM. Here is the agenda and zoom link.
• Coffee with the Principal is Wednesday, 5/25 at 9am with a special guest presenting about social emotional health. Click HERE for the link.
• Awards Night is Wednesday, 5/25 at 5pm in the Auditorium for those who have already RSVP'd. You can also stream it on the STEM YouTube Channel!
• Our final ASTEMbly of the year is this Thursday during Advisory.
• We have 2 college field trips this week. On Thursday, students will be visiting CSU Long Beach and on Friday students will be visiting the University of La Verne.

• Students - keep your friends and our campus safe, See Something? Say Something! by talking to an adult right away or filling out this anonymous form on our website!
• Families - want to leave us feedback? Have a non-urgent question? Use the Parent Feedback Form on our Website!
• All students and staff test weekly on Wednesdays at STEM. If you are absent, get tested on your own at one of these locations.

• Do you want to be a mentor teacher next year for a CSUDH student teacher in a single subject OR special education credential program? STEM has a long tradition of hosting student teachers! It keep our practice fresh & innovative while allowing us to give back to the teaching community! Let me know ASAP if you are interested or would like additional information.
• Next School Year's calendar is out! Click HERE Remember that STEM always has PD the 3 days before and after the school year called Summer Institute and they are mandatory!
• We will be Covid-19 testing this Wednesday in the following order; 10th, 11th, 12th and 9th, grade during periods 4, 5, 6 and 7 respectfully.
