Welcome back! We hope you were able to have some time relaxing with your family during the Spring break and hopefully this long weekend.

As you may have noticed, since September, letter Grades have been represented alongside your child's percent grade in PowerSchool Parent Portal. GYPSD is running a Pilot Project to develop and produce a digital report card using PowerTeacher Pro that will start in the 2023/2024 school year.

Please note that PGMS is not a part of this current pilot, and I would like to ask you now to ignore the Letter Grades in your parent portal quick lookup. I want to assure you that the division is preparing parent information to share with you before the end of the school year. I appreciate your understanding, and please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you Calleigh Martin for raising money for the Stollery Children's Hospital. Calleigh has been making and selling earrings, necklaces and bracelets which all the proceeds are donated to the Stollery. Way to go Calleigh!

All current grade 6 and 7 students will be completing their exploratory option choices for next year this week and next. If would like to see the exploratory options that are available the Google Form is available on their child's homeroom Google Classroom. The Google Forms are due by April 16th, 2023.

The grade six classes are doing a Little Caesars Pizza fundraiser. Money raised will be used to partially pay for busses and entry. The deadline is April 23rd. Cheques should be made payable to Pine Grove Middle School.
