Greetings Parkway Families!

I can't believe we have almost completed 100 days of school. Our students have been working very hard this year, and I am so proud of their progress. Our midyear NWEA scores are showing tremendous academic growth - it is so exciting!

January 24 - 28 we are participating in the Great Kindness Challenge with children from all over the world. Our awesome counselors, Mrs. Bilgischer and Mrs. Davis, have scheduled some fun activities to help us spread kindness. Here's the schedule for the week:

• Monday: Wear red to support the Great Kindness Challenge! Students will receive their Great Kindness Challenge checklist.
• Tuesday: Thankful Tuesday! Wear red, white and blue to show kindness and patriotism. Write a thank you note to your teacher, a service man/woman, a nurse, or someone who has helped you!
• Wednesday: Peace, Love & Kindness Day! Wear tie dye, bright color or neon colors!
• Thursday: Say "Yee-Haw" for Kindness! Show us your Western Wear today! Don't forget to keep working on that Great Kindness Challenge Checklist!
• Friday: Nothing Beats Kindness! Wear your team jersey or a Parkway shirt! Students will turn in their completed Great Kindness Checklist to the counselors' office today for a prize! Don't forget to put your name on the sheet!

Masks will be REQUIRED for the week of January 24-28, 2022. Thank you for your help in making sure our kiddos wear their mask to school each day. We will continue to do everything we can here at Parkway to keep our kiddos and staff members healthy.
