Football:

• On Thursday, September 14th, BHS' Varsity Football Team defeated South Windsor, 50-15. Touchdowns for the Warhawks were scored by: Davien Kerr (3), Davion Kerr (2), Zakyi Kimber (1) and Breydon Evans (1).

Boys Cross Country:

• On Tuesday, September 19th, BHS' Varsity Boys Cross Country Team fell to Newington, 41-20. Senior, Jaden Smith was the top finisher at the meet!

Girls Cross Country:

• On Tuesday, September 19th, BHS' Varsity Girls Cross Country Team defeated Newington, 27-29. Top finishers for the girls were: Aisha Williams, Jahniya Barclay and Kiylah Williams.

Girls Soccer:

• On Tuesday, September 19th, BHS' Varsity Girls Soccer Team fell to RHAM, 10-0.
• On Thursday, September 21st, BHS' Varsity Girls Soccer Team fell to South Windsor, 7-0.

Boys Soccer:

• On Thursday, September 14th, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team defeated Hartford Public, 4-3. The goalscoring haul was achieved by senior, Jahmeen Harrigan!
• On Monday, September 18th, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team fell to Maloney, 3-1.
• On Thursday, September 21st, BHS' Varsity Boys Soccer Team tied Northwest Catholic, 1-1. The goal for the Warhawks was scored by senior, Jahmeen Harrigan!

Girls Volleyball:

• On Monday, September 18th, BHS' Varsity Girls Volleyball Team fell to Avon, 3-0.
• On Thursday, September 21st, BHS' Varsity Girls Volleyball Team fell to Lewis Mills, 3-0.

August is National Black Business Month, and this past August, BHS' own Jovan Huff was highlighted by Fox 61 News as one of Connecticut's up and coming entrepreneurs. Jovan created Food Trap Food Truck in 2021 and benefits his success to trapping people with his one-of-a-kind menu, whatever you want, Jovan will make it for you! BHS was lucky to have Jovan bring his food truck to our first home football game of the season vs Hartford Public. It was a great hit with all of the fans, many people still standing in line after it began to downpour.
