The Heartbeat of the Wildcat
August 30, 2023

Keeping a Pulse on Student Life at WMHS!
We hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! This week has been busy with Homecoming festivities, which continue tonight with the PowderPuff Game and Bonfire. We hope to see a big crowd for the Homecoming Game on Friday night, as the Wildcats take on the Hillsboro Indians. Prior to the game, the parade will go through town, beginning at 5:30pm.

Welcome Deputy Mullins, our new SRO!
We are pleased to welcome Deputy Zach Mullins as our School Resource Officer! Deputy Mullins has been with the Clermont County Sheriff's Office for the past seven years. He will be at both the Elementary and Middle/High School.
Mrs. Kellerman's Challenge Day
Mrs. Kellerman hosted a Challenge Day for her students on Friday, 9/1. Students had cards with four different numbers on them. They had to use the order of operations (and sometimes decimals and fractions) to make the numbers on each card combine to be 24. Students worked with their partner to solve the challenges, which sometimes seemed impossible to solve! This was a fun activity for students to take part in before taking a test on similar standards.
A Little Bingo Brain Break!
Students in Mrs. Kopcha's English 12 class took a brain break for some Bingo last Friday! Students competed for some candy and bragging rights.
