WHPE Update October, 2022
"Reach Everyone"
Greetings Everyone,
One of the sayings in Wisconsin is, “If you don’t like today’s weather, stay around until tomorrow.” Last week, weather in the state saw cool to cold mornings with warm afternoons. At the end of the week, afternoon temperatures were close to 70 degrees in parts of the state. A constant is the variability in temperatures this time of year.
A constant in WHPE is a quality convention every year. Within that constant, there is variability from one year to the next. The year, we have new and more Featured Speakers. The All Convention Social on Wednesday night will be in the Exhibits Hall with exhibitors waiting to talk with you. 125th Anniversary videos will play at various times during convention. A WHPE Birthday party will be held Thursday night. And, there is a new convention scavenger hunt called Goosechase. Along with these new aspects to convention this year, is the constant of excellent presentations.
Read more below about this year’s convention and other important WHPE initiatives. Be sure to vote in the Board of Directors election going on now. Plan your fund raising for the year. Buy some WHPE clothing.
Best wishes for a productive October! I hope to see you at convention in a few weeks.
Dan Timm
WHPE President
