Shadow Hills Spirit Day - Wear Your Spirit Gear!

AEF Gala

AEF supports AUSD schools by providing programs and resources to enhance the student experience.

The mission of the Alpine Education Foundation (AEF) is to provide financial resources beyond the scope of the School District's regular budget to sustain, improve, and stimulate new educational opportunities for students, teachers and other staff members of the greater Alpine area in order to prepare today’s youth for the future.

The Foundation does not attempt to replace tax support for the schools, rather it aggressively works to supplement, enrich and add to the accomplishments that already distinguish our schools.

The Foundation is committed to preserving the quality of the current educational programs and facilitating enrichment education. It seeks to provide an alternative method of support for our schools through its commitment to raising funds and by using tax-deductible donations to directly benefit and support the schools and our children.

The Foundation seeks to develop new and improve existing relationships with individuals, groups, and businesses by providing a means for them to support school activities and programs for which they have a special interest in through tax-deductible donations.

2021 Alpine Education Foundation “Back to the 80’s” Gala Come join us on Saturday, September 18th for the Back to the 80’s Gala. The Gala will feature dinner, auctions and live music by San Diego’s own Radio Thieves; 80’s dress is required…. This year held at Joan MacQueen Middle School, this fun Gala is AEF’s premier fund-raising event to raise funds for enriched Wheel of Experts STEAM education programs in Alpine schools. Help us maintain Alpine Union School District the Destination District of the East County!

i-Ready

All AUSD students will begin to take our new i-Ready diagnostic assessment this week. This assessment is given in both math and reading and takes the place of our MAP test. Once the students complete the diagnostic, they are given a personalized learning plan with skills practice within the i-Ready program. The assessment results also help the teachers drive their instruction as they will have a clear understanding of where each child is performing academically. More information about i-Ready can be found here.

Waterbottles

Please make sure you are sending a refillable water bottle daily with your child. We HIGHLY suggest that your child always has an extra one at school that they fill up from the water bottle refilling stations.
