Happy Friday Slater Nation!

Slaterbration was a total success! I hope you enjoy the pictures below. Our 9-12 Homecoming Dance will be held this Saturday, October 21st, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. It will cost students $10 for a single ticket, and $15 for couples. All proceeds go to the Student Council.

Over the next week, you will be receiving emails inviting you to sign up for the November 8th or 9th Parent-Teacher Conferences. Some teachers have already sent out the invitations. The remainder of our staff will have the invitations out by next week. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to come meet and discuss your child(ren)'s progress. Please feel free to email teachers if you need to set up your meeting time to be virtual rather than in-person.

Our next Belonging Potluck (formerly Slater Strong) will be held on Wednesday, November 15th. Our Belonging Potlucks will share the same spirit as the students' Belonging Club: building a school where everyone feels they belong. Please refer to the invitation below.

Lastly, we will be checking grades on November 3rd for extra-curricular eligibility and Senior privileges. We will also be printing progress reports and mailing these to you shortly after the November 3rd date.

We are grateful for our Slater Community and appreciate being able to pull people together in times of need!

FHUMHS will hold evening conferences on November 8th, and afternoon conferences on November 9th. Sign-up information will be shared in October. While we love in-person conferences, we are happy to accommodate virtual meetings as well!

We will be holding PSAT testing on October 23rd and SAT testing on October 26th for students who have signed up. the testing will occur during the school day.

Join our high school counseling team at 5:30 pm in the Cafeteria to discuss important financial aid information for post-secondary school.
