CES Happenings
A couple of things for you:
- If you haven't already heard from your child yet, our CES students had a BLAST at Mt. Lassen Theater this week. The staff at MLT provided a free showing of a Christmas movie of our choosing (Polar Express) and also offered free popcorn. It really was a special time. For those of you that have long been in Chester, this event reignites an old tradition. Our own Mrs. O'Kelley, a Chester native, remembers going to the Chester theater for a Christmas movie as a CES student. Thank you, Mt. Lassen Theater for such a special time. Oh, and by the way, Santa and Mrs. Claus were waiting for the students when they came out into the lobby after the movie. A magical time for so many.
- First-trimester report cards available for viewing starting tomorrow (12/10). A reminder that the format is entirely new and some will likely have questions. Please get in touch with your child's teacher if this is you.
Looks like we could have some snow coming this weekend. Stay safe! Remember to set your notifications in the Parent Square app to provide you with an alert for incoming messages. Text and email messages should be coming to your way when messages are sent out.

We are hiring! CES has an amazing educational team. We have been very fortunate to hire some great staff recently, but we still have immediate openings for the following positions:
- Nurse/LVN (full time, Chester/Greenville)
- English Learner aide (2 hrs./day)
- Paraeducator/instructional aide (5 hrs./day)
