Dear Cub Families,
Thank you to all the families who participated in last week's Cubs Night Out by visiting Tot's Ice Cream and Valley Jump Park! Thank you for supporting our PTA!
Save the date-October 26! Cub Run will be hosting our fall Title 1/Literacy Night, "Come Read S'More!" Join us for a night full of camping themed fun! We will have crafts and games related to wonderful books that have been read in your child’s class, and the book fair will also be open during this event in our library.! We hope to see you there!
Thank you to everyone for supporting the VA Diner fundraiser! Please note that all money raised from this fundraiser will go directly back to the teachers and students at Cub Run. This money will be used to purchase items teachers request for special projects (when they need to go buy consumable items for projects) and for student incentives and rewards in the classrooms throughout the year.
This coming week is National School Bus Safety Week, and Wednesday, October 18 is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We want to say, "Thank you" to our bus drivers for what they do every day!

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 5:30pm-8:00pm in the SHS Chorus Room. Please see the attached pdf and google drive folder for additional details!

CRES Six Day Specials Rotation
As you are aware, CRES is on a six day rotation for our specials classes. Each week we will share the upcoming days of the rotation with parents. Here are the rotations for the next two weeks:

Your child's teacher will share with you the specific 6 day specials rotation for their class (which day is art, music, PE, library, and technology).
Scholastic Book Fair Cub Run October 20-27!
As you are preparing for the upcoming month, save the dates of October 20-27 for our book fair! We will host a Scholastic Fair October 20-27. It will be open each day from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The fair will also be open during literacy night on October 26 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and on the teacher workday October 27 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. We hope to see you there
