Thank You Chico for a Spectacular Chico Pride

To all those who attended Chico Pride 2022 and to those who supported this year's events by planning, volunteering and/or being a pride sponsor; we at Stonewall Alliance of Chico would like to thank you for helping us make this year GRAND! Your participation, hard work and commitment to honoring and celebrating love truly helped make this year like no other. "Together in Pride" throughout this pride season, we celebrated our growing and vibrant community. We at SAC can only hope to continue these valuable connections and partnerships within Chico for many, many, many years to come!

With the new season comes a new round of events! We are excited to launch several Planning Committees to help us plan and prepare for the following: Latine Heritage Month, Indigenous People's Day & Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR)!

Each Committee will be meeting regularly via hybrid meetings from 6-7pm at the Stonewall Office 358 E 6th St, Chico. Attendance to each meeting is not required to be apart of the committee. Please attend at whichever capacity feels good to you. For more info and how to register as a committee member, read and review the descriptions below!

Indigenous Peoples' Day

Calling community members and organizers who are interested in planning the Indigenous Peoples' Day event on October 10th. Committee Meetings start mid-September and will be hybrid. Transgender Day of Remembrance

SAC is recruiting volunteers to help plan and organize our TDOR Event on November 20th. Meetings will be online and in-person at Stonewall Chico, 358 E. 6th Street, Chico. To sign-up as a committee member, click here. All ages are encouraged to participate!

Social & Support Group Updates

Stonewall Chico's TRANS GROUP FOR ADULTS (Trans & Nonbinary people 18+) is back to in-person meetings! Join us at the Stonewall Chico Center every Thursday at 6pm. This group will be a hybrid, and will still offer an online option at the same time, through the link at www.stonewallchico.org/groups


DARING DINOS has a new start time. This support group is for 12 and under kiddos and their guardians. They will meet every month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 5:30PM-6:30pm.


Our QUEER AUTTERS group meets regularly in-person @ SAC on the 2nd Friday of every month from 4-5:30PM.


The QTPOC Group (Queer & Trans People of Color) meets in-person on the 1st Tuesdays of every month from 6-8pm @ Stonewall.


SASSY SENIORS - is temporarily passed as we search for a new co-facilitator.


We are still on the search for new co-facilitators for the following groups: Trans Adults, Queer Autters, LGBT+ Young Adults, Rainbow Reunion and Sassy Seniors. We are also always on the lookout for new groups, so if you have an idea for a group that we don't have, let us know! Interested or want to know more? Email us at center@stonewallchico.org
