Mrs. Sinople's Weekly Update

• Here we go! We are nearing the end of 7th grade. I can't believe how fast this school year has flown by!
• Please make sure that your child has their Chromebook and charger with them in the morning. We will be charging their laptops overnight on Tuesday.
  
• Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a good breakfast in the morning. Lunch is typically delayed on testing days.
  
• We will continue reading The Giver throughout the week, when we have downtime together.
  
• Our final grades for the marking period are due this week. I encourage all students to check Powerschool to see if there is anything they can still turn in.
  

• Students will have an altered schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday this week for EOG's.
• I know that many of my students will also be taking the Math I EOC on Monday. Please don't worry about them missing anything important. I have things scheduled for when ALL students will be present.
• We continue to work on A MidSummer Night's Dream. We will finish Act III tomorrow and read Act IV as well. We will finish the play next week.
• Students will have one more assignment left before the marking period and the year is over!
• I'm planning some fun group challenges this week for students to get the opportunity to earn some rewards!

Wednesday, May 28th - Reading EOG & 4:30 PTSO meeting

Thursday, May 29th - Math EOG

Friday, May 30th -

• Math I students will leave their Chromebook and charger at school for their EOC on Monday.
  
• 8th grade - English I Exam
• 8th graders tour the high school
