We are excited to partner with the Downtown Perry Merchants and Shop Downtown Perry to present the second book in our StoryWalk® series. Join us on Carroll Street December 10-12 to read. StoryWalk® is a fun way for children and adults to enjoy reading and the outdoors simultaneously by taking pages from children’s books and placing them along paths for participants. Select stores in downtown Perry will post pages from a storybook in their windows. Activities for whole family will be available along with a special prize for the first 100 children to complete a short survey.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with Kellog-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

To celebrate end of the semester, start your holiday weeks with some fantastic music! Wellston Winds is a group of local musicians directed by our own Dr. Howell plus two other local directors. This will be an awesome concert and is free to the public.

SENIORS, let us celebrate your accomplishments! If you have committed to a college, enlisted in the military, or have a work contract, let us know and we will let "R" Community know. Help support our (STATE CHAMPION) One Act Cast. They are selling eco-friendly items. 40% of the sale goes back to the students account to help pay for show fees and other expenses. Please watch the video below to note the proper locations to drop-off and pick-up students in the morning and afternoon. This will allow for less traffic and an expedited experience for all. Thank you for your patience.

All students applying for a Learners or Drivers Permit are required to fill out a DDS-1 Certificate of Enrollment form. The link to the form on our website is here, can be picked up on the wall beside the attendance office, or downloaded in the link below. Once Section 1 is filled out, please turn in to Mrs. Hunnicutt in the front office. Forms require a 24-48 hour turn around time. Please keep that in mind when scheduling your appointment to get your license/permit. Once completed, forms will be put in the students 1st period teachers mailbox to be given back to the student. If applying for a Drivers License ADAP (Alcohol Drug Awareness Program) certificate, it will also be attached if the class was taken/passed at WRHS.
