A Message from the Principal
We are off to a great start at Longmont Estates Elementary! The students are having a good time getting to know their new teachers and classmates. It is fun to watch new friendships forming. I am so proud of how hard our teachers and students are working. Longmont Estates is truly a special place!
I appreciated the great turn out for our Back to School Night, and enjoyed the opportunity to see so many of our students and their families. It is truly an honor to be a Longmont Estates Eagle!
We believe in strong partnerships between school and our parent community. To support this belief, we will be sending home bi-weekly school newsletters on Thursdays via email. Please make sure to keep your email address up-to-date so you do not miss out on the important happenings at LEE.
As always, please let me know how I can help support you and your children as they grow and learn here at Longmont Estates Elementary.

Arrival and Dismissal
Parking: There is limited parking at the school. If you need to park and enter the building with your child, please make sure you are parked legally on a neighborhood street. Be friendly to our neighbors by not blocking driveways please!
Hug and Go Lane: Please make sure that you are helping us keep traffic moving in the Hug and Go Lane. Remember the lane closest to the school is for drop off only. No parking is allowed in this lane before school in order to provide student safety while being dropped off. After school you may park on either side of the hug and go lane.
Handicapped Parking: The first spot in the parking lot is designated for handicapped parking. This spot will be available at all times. We will continue to have the rest of the staff parking lot closed for student safety purposes.
LEE Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 3:00 PM. They will exit the building from their designated area. If you want to meet your child, please arrive early, find a legal place to park, and walk around the building to their area. Students may also walk themselves to the front of the building and meet you in the Hug & Go lane. You are welcome to stay in your car and wait for your child.
Visiting the School
All visitors to the school must sign in at the front office and receive a blue/white visitor badge before going beyond the office area. Please wear the badge so that it is visible to building staff! We appreciate your support in helping to make sure LEE is a safe environment.
Materials Fee
If you have not yet paid the Materials Fee, the $10 fee may be paid by check made out to LEE, cash or by clicking here.
Nutrition Services
Breakfast will be served at 8:05am. The price of school breakfast for elementary students is $1.50. Students who are enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program can receive a free breakfast.
Lunch
The price of a school lunch for elementary students is $3.25 per day. Please make checks for lunches payable to Nutrition Services, or you can pay online at lees.svvsd.org under the online payments tab. Milk, water, or juice may be purchased for $.50 per day by students who bring their own lunch. 5th graders who have purchased a hot lunch will be permitted to purchase a second entree for $1.75 if available.
Parents are welcome to eat breakfast or lunch with their child. The price for an adult breakfast is $3.00. Adult lunches are $4.25. Please notify the school by 9:30 a.m. if you intend to purchase a lunch so the appropriate amount of food will be prepared. Please note that at this time we are unable to accept debit/credit cards in the lunch line. We are able to accept cash, preferably exact change or a check made out to Nutrition Services. Adults are not permitted to charge a meal to a student's account. This is against federal regulations.
Any student who needs free and reduced lunch this year will need to complete an application. A new application needs to be completed every year. Applications for free or reduced price lunches are available at the school office or may be completed online at myschoolapps.com. These are due September 25th.
No Dogs Allowed
For the safety of our children, and for your own liability protection, we do not allow dogs on school property or in the school (with the exception of service dogs) during school hours or during school events. A dog that is friendly to you may frighten a young child or may become excited or aggressive in the presence of several children. We realize this may be inconvenient to some people but this is in the best interest of student safety. Should you walk your dog on school property outside of these hours, please remember to pick up after your pet.
Thank you!
Playground Closure
As a reminder, students with adult supervision are welcome to use the small playground in the front of the building starting at 3:15PM. Pratt Park is also a great option for families wanting a fun place to play after school.
