A Note from Mrs. Pitts
Dear RES Families and Supporters,
We hope you are enjoying 2023 this far! As we plan the rest of the school year, I would like to plan an evening of reflection and conversation with families. The title of this discussion will be "RES 101." During this time, I will plan to share with you the accomplishments of the year, thus far, as well as educate families on our "next steps" and common language we use at school each day. I would LOVE to have some feedback on topics you might find helpful. I want to cover as much as possible and know there might be questions and education that might be covered if I know your questions ahead of time. Thank you for your consideration!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Warmly,
Michelle Pitts

Welcome Iris Ross
Hello RES Families! I am excited to share that the Counseling Office will have an extra smile to share with your kiddos throughout the month of January!
Iris Ross is a freshman at Endicott College. She is pursuing a career in education, and as a part of her program, she is required to explore all areas of this field. I have convinced - I mean, inspired 🙂- her to check out School Counseling! Iris will be engaging with students and staff on a regular basis during recess, lunch, classroom lessons and social lunch bunches. As her direct supervisor, I will be overseeing and working alongside her during these interactions.
I encourage you to reach out to me or to Michelle Pitts if you have any questions or concerns. The goal for this month is to expose this future educator to the career and offer insight into the role a School Counselor has in working with students, staff and in a large way, families! Please feel free to say hi when you’re in the building or if you see Iris at arrival or dismissal. She is a responsible and passionate student, and I am so excited to watch her grow!
