Fitness Mindset

Students receive a well rounded fitness program at Daniel Wright. Physical education teachers create a mindset for exercise that incorporates the benefits of fitness, leadership, and using what they learn in real life situations.
“We focus on self reflection and how it relates to real life,” said PE Teacher Michael Jerzyk. “We teach students to assess what they enjoy and help them acquire life skills that focus on real life situations, common sense and help them to understand why it's important to be physically and mentally healthy.”
