Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
This is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update. Spring break was a breath of fresh air for our students and staff. My hope is that you feel recharged and ready to finish the last 5 weeks of school.
The Yowell Art Show is this Thursday, April 20th from 5-7pm. The students have come together to create artwork for a spectacular ART SHOW celebration! EVERY STUDENT has selected their own masterpiece to display. Should you choose, you can purchase your child's artwork which as been beautifully matted and the proceeds will benefit the art program at Yowell Elementary. The cost of a matted piece of artwork is $20. Cash or check can be made payable to Yowell Elementary. No Credit Cards this year.
On Saturday, April 22nd, Culpeper County Public Schools will be hosting a job fair at our CTEC building from 9am to noon. CCPS is looking to fill various vacancies for the 23-24 school year, consider coming out to meet administrators and other CCPS staff to hear about what we have to offer.
We will be hosting our kindergarten orientation Wednesday, April 26, from 5:30-6:30. If you have a child that will be attending Yowell next school year as a kindergartner, we hope you can join the event.

Counselor's Corner
Middle school registration for elective courses is now open in the Parent Portal. Middle school counselors from both Culpeper Middle School and Floyd T. Binns were in classrooms in early March to explain courses and to assist with the registration process. Students visited the middle schools for a tour this week. With these transitional activities completed, students should be ready to make their elective choices, if they have not already.
Attached are instructions to access the Parent Portal. Also below you will find the Program of Studies for both middle schools. If you need any assistance with accessing your parent portal account, please call the main office at (540-825-9484). If you have any other additional questions please contact Mrs. Gibson.
All elective choices must be made by Tuesday April 18th.
Below is also the Middle School Program of Studies.
