September 22nd, 2023

Hello Families,
Please see the list of important dates below. We have a lot of exciting things coming up!
We had really powerful House meetings today! If you haven't seen the link about the House System, it is listed below. The purpose of our House system is to go deeper into our learner powers of grit, noticing, connection, imagination, reflection, and wonder, all through the avenues of self-awareness and collaboration. This is not only part of our School of Innovation plan, but a really impactful way to build social-emotional skills, mentorship opportunities, and a school culture of family. Six houses, one family! We are Rollins!
Starting Monday, Mrs. Cox would like to support our Walker 2 issue of students getting picked up in cars in the neighborhood cul-de-sac. She will walk students to the end of their streets to ensure walkers are getting where they should be. As stated before, students cannot be picked up in the neighborhood by cars. This poses a major safety risk for our students. Our school SRO has advised that since this is off school property, the Tontitown Police Department can respond to any issues of this continuing to happen. I urge anyone that sees anything happening that is unsafe off school grounds to reach out to the Tontitown Police Department. Please continue to also inform us of these incidents and anything that would pose a safety risk to students and staff. We appreciate your partnership in keeping students safe on our campus and off.
Have a great weekend, Trailblazers!
Sincerely,
Carrie Farris
