What's Happening This Week:
Wow, it's already November! The school year sure is flying by!!
Don't forget, the book fair starts this Friday and is open throught 11/10/2022. Students will be visiting the book fair during their ELA classes next week.
Winter sports is gearing up. Girls basketball begins this week. Boys basketball and wrestling start next week (11/7). Reminder to be eligible to participate, student athletes must have a current physical (dated after May 1, 2022) and a 2.0 GPA.

Yearbook Pre-Orders!
or in person (cash or check made payable to CTMS in an envelope with student name on front--bring to Ms. Hall in Rm 24 or to the office).
You are able to order online through the end of March. Yearbooks may still be ordered in person after this point, however quantities will be limited after the pre-order window closes.
Yearbooks are $25 without an engraved name and $30 with an engraved name. If you pay in person for an engraved name yearbook, please include how you would like your name to appear.

Immunization Deadline Friday, November 11th.
Proof of these vaccinations must be received by the school nurse no later and Friday, November 11th. If you have sent them, please confirm your student turned them in. All student who are not complaint will be removed from school beginning Monday, November 14th and the absences will be unexcused.

Viral Illness Outbreak
CTMS FFA attends 95th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana
The ladies represented CTMS FFA alongside Washington FFA officer Mary Gruber in the National FFA Quiz Competition in the Junior Division. The team placed 15th out of 44 teams from across the country. Individually Khloe was 35th, Mary 68th, and Chyler 74th out of 149 students.
While at the convention Jefferson county FFA members had a chance to attend leadership workshops, participate in βDays of Serviceβ, be part of the FFA Courtesy Corp for dairy judging, attend the career show, and tour local attractions.

6th Grade Social Studies
A Document Based Question Essay or DBQ, is an essay where students study and analyze documents to answer a question, or questions based on the document. This is a big task for our 6th graders and we are super proud of their efforts the last few weeks.
