Parent / Teacher Conferences

Plans are being made to schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences. This year, conferences will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020, and Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Because of the timing of those two days in the hybrid and e-Classroom schedules, both of the days will now be independent online learning days for all students, K-8. This is a change from the BASD calendar.


Parent/Teacher Conferences will be scheduled by the classroom teacher. Classroom teachers will contact families on how to register for a conference. Parents requesting a time to meet with one of our specialist teachers should contact them directly either through Class Dojo or at their email address below.



Teachers are always available to discuss any questions/issues throughout the school year. We look forward to meeting with you and discussing your child's educational progress, strengths, and needs.

Turkeys in Disguise

It's that time of year again when turkeys around the country find their favorite disguises to avoid being Thanksgiving dinner. This week, each Asa Packer student will be bringing home a turkey template for you (it is also attached below) and your family to disguise with found items from around your home. Have fun hunting around your home for ideas and supplies. "Turkey Trouble" is a great story to share with your family for inspiration. Here is a read-aloud version you can watch at home. The illustrator, Lee Harper, has even been to our school!


Photos of each turkey in his/her disguise can be submitted at this link. Participation is totally voluntary. Please do not send turkeys to school. The link is also posted on the Asa Packer website for easy reference.


Submit your photos before Friday, November 20th, and we will share a collage with the whole school right here on Class Dojo. Happy Hunting! (Or should I say, Happy Hiding!)

If your child was possibly exposed to or is exhibiting COVID symptoms, please contact our health office staff. They will be in contact with you about the various procedures. You can call the school or email them at the addresses below. Both members of our staff should be contacted if you are sending an email.
