Welcome back to the new school year! I hope that you have all had an enjoyable summer filled with great memories!

Our school building is undergoing a lot of changes that will continue throughout the school year, which will cause changes in our daily routines - where we park, where we enter and leave the building, which hallways we can use when we navigate through the building from class to class, lunch routines, and many more that will continue to change as the school year progresses.

We are excited to see you on Tuesday and are looking forward to an amazing school year!

All students and parents are invited to come and Meet the Teachers on Monday, August 14th from 6-7PM. You can meet your teachers, bring items for your lockers, and navigate your daily schedule. Please enter the front of the high school building through the 2nd doors on the east end.

Tuesday, August 15th is our first day of school! Here are some important items of information you will need to know:

• Student Parking We will assign parking spots beginning the week of August 28th. In the meantime, parking is first come first serve. All students that have completed the parking form will be issued a tag and will park in the Student Parking Lot that is West of the Construction Site. Students are not permitted to park in the lot behind the bus garage. That is for Construction Vehicles ONLY. Students are not permitted to park on the East side of the building - these are designated as Staff Parking. (See Parking Lot Picture below).
• Zero Hour - Athletic PE and Jazz Band will not meet until August 16th. Athletic PE will enter the building through the Northeast Doors of the Dome. Jazz Band will enter the building through the Old Gym Doors.
• All students will report to their first hour class at 8:15. This means that you will need to check Skyward before you come to school on Tuesday so that you know where you are going.
• Schedule Change Requests are not official until they are in Skyward!! If you have requested a schedule change, it is not official until it is posted on Skyward. You must follow the schedule that you have in Skyward until the schedule request is processed.
• Pump Up the Pretzel Pride Assembly - Students will be dismissed from their 1st hour class to go to the Dome for our Pump Up the Pretzel Pride Assembly.
• Schedule for the Day - We will run an abbreviated daily schedule so that students will meet with every teacher and will dismiss at 2:21. CACC students do not have to attend CACC until Friday and may sign out after 4th period each day pending parent permission to do so. Bus riders will dismiss at 2:05 for the week so we can get used to the procedures of leaving school. They will dismiss at 2:10 beginning next week.
• Student Dismissal - All other students will be dismissed after the buses depart from the front of the high school building and arrive at New Berlin Elementary. We are sharing the road for student parking with the bus route. We will not dismiss the high school students until the buses are through the shared road.

Our Daily Announcements Include an Action for Happiness Challenge for the Day. Here is this Month's Challenge Calendar. Feeling part of something bigger is great for our wellbeing. So this month let's focus on the things that really matter and make life more meaningful.
