Parent Conferences will take place for students who are at-risk during the week of May 10th through May 14th. Students will continue to be dismissed at the same time as they have been for the last few weeks, according to the schedule shown below.

• Pants/shorts must not have rips above the knee. If they do, please wear leggings underneath.
• Shoes must have closed toes and closed heels.
• Clothing must cover all undergarments.

Students in the Kinder, 4th, and 5th grades enter campus first from 7:40 to 8:00. Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades may start entering campus at 7:55 and start class at 8:15. Supervision is provided starting at 7:40. Students in grades 1 through 3 should consider arriving close to 7:55 to avoid waiting in line to enter.

California has been granted a waiver this year that allows us to use alternative ways to measure student progress. Because students will only be in school for a short time this year, our district has decided to use STAR Reading and STAR Math instead of the CAASPP state tests. This is good news because each of these tests can be taken in under an hour, allowing our children to have more time for learning in the classroom.

If your student requires medication during school hours, please be sure to bring in the medication along with a current doctor's order form. We have the medication forms available to pick up from the health office.

Remote Learning Days (including Friday)

· All students in K-5 will participate in at least 20 minutes of synchronous learning on each remote learning day (at home). Synchronous learning will take place in Google Meet or Zoom. Students must log on every day of the week with their teacher and also complete all asynchronous (independent) assignments on remote learning days.

In-Person Learning Days

· Each student will need to complete at least 20 minutes of asynchronous (independent homework) learning to meet the daily required instructional minutes.
