Freshmen Campus Visit
All 9th graders will be going on a campus visit to Wayne State College on Monday, November 13th. This is a great educational opportunity for students to explore a college campus, learn about the college-going process, and see what WSC has to offer. We plan to leave school at 8:30 a.m and will return around 11:30 a.m.
Be Prepared For The FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is being updated and will be available in December this year. All college-bound students should fill out the FAFSA because it helps them access funding for college including loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study opportunities. Students and parents must have FSA IDs to complete the application. You can set up your FSA ID ahead of time here: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. The video below walks through the process of creating a FSA ID.
