Let's Appreciate our Teachers

Next week we would love to show our "Superhero Teachers" how much we appreciate all their hard work and dedication towards our students. Please help us by participating in these activities with your children for their teachers...

Monday: Write a “SUPER” note to your SUPER teacher!
Tuesday: Wear your teacher's favorite color.
Wednesday: Draw a "BOOMing" picture of your teacher.
Thursday: Record a short video and send it on classdojo/email .
Friday: Celebrate your teacher in a superhero outfit/shirt and celebrate it in your own special way.

2022 Superintendent Search

The Lawndale Elementary School District Board of Trustees is seeking staff and community input in its search for its next Superintendent. This survey is designed to gather your perceptions about the current state of the District along with the experiences and ideal leadership qualities you feel are most important for the incoming Superintendent to possess. The survey is being conducted by outside search advisors who are assisting the Board in this important endeavor. All individual responses will remain anonymous. The survey will close on Friday, April 29.

SBAC Testing Information

What is SBAC testing? Students in 3rd through 8th grades will be taking state tests this spring for the first time in 2 years. Watch this short video to learn more about the SBAC test.

Practice Test / Training Test. Practice will help students do their best on state testing. Learn about the SBAC practice tests and how your child can take one. Click here to take the practice test.

Our school gear will be sold all school year, while supplies last. Thank you for all your support.

Few Reminders & Recommendation

Here are a few reminders/recommendation for parents:

Put your childs name on ALL of their belongings
No toys or game cards are allowed in school (Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh/baseball cards etc)
We recommend our students to wear hats on really hot and sunny days, especially during PE (Mondays and Tuesday).
Bringing a water bottle that they can refill in the “Hydration Station”.
Packing an extra mask just in case it rips or gets dirty.
