Your Bridge to Academic Success!
Welcome Back Everyone!
Let's gear up to have a blast this year! We promise you will have an enriching experience learning new things. Here at the DML we will provide you with the support you need to help you reach your fullest potential!
Professor Khristen Montes and her RCC 200 students, along with Dayton Memorial Library, are excited to host an exhibition of student work dedicated to exploring the theme of “Beneath Mexico City: Uncovering the Art and Architecture of The Americas’ First Empire”.
Modern day Mexico City sits on the site of the former Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán, prompting students and historians to ask, “What histories have we walked on?” Students researched and created interactive StoryMaps using ArcGIS software to investigate this question through the different cultural and artistic aspects of the Aztec Empire. Dayton Memorial Library is proud to host an exhibition of these StoryMaps in the 2nd floor Fireplace Lounge starting January 16th-January 26th.
We invite you to visit the exhibition, view students’ exemplary research, and reflect on these questions of history, culture, and time through interactive digital storytelling.
The Learning Commons writing coaches and tutors are excited to work with you this spring semester!
