Note from the Principal

Good morning!


We have wonderful news! After weeks of advocacy by our amazing Catholic Schools Office, we have secured appointments for all teachers desiring to receive the initial COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday February 25th. As it is important for all staff members to have the opportunity to receive this vaccine, the appointments are all during the school day, and each appointment is averaging 2-3 hours with before and after wait time,


ST. MARY OF THE ASSUMPTION CAMPUS WILL BE CLOSED ON THIS THURSDAY FEBRUARY 25TH. THERE WILL BE NO ZOOM CLASSES. ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED USING GOOGLE CLASSROOM AND SEESAW.


We recognize the stress this will cause families that will need to find childcare with such short notice and the frustration of losing a day of synchronous virtual instruction, but this is an important step in getting the students back on campus. The availability of the vaccines is very limited, and we were only able to secure appointments for this one day.


We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility. If you have any questions, please let me know.


Book pick up will be held today from 5-6 p.m. and tomorrow from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!

Book Pick-Up/Drop-Off

Our next Book and Supply Pick-Up/Drop-Off will be this week on February 22nd (5-6 PM) and 23rd (11AM-12 PM). This is rescheduled from last week due to inclement weather.

Progress Reports

Updated grades for 4th-8th grade will be available this Friday in PlusPortals. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions on the grades.

Virtual Coffee Chats

Based on feedback from parents and recent attendance, Friday morning coffee chats will be reduced to once per month and will include all grades. Please join Mrs. Lewis on Friday March 12th at 8:30am to provide feedback, ask questions, and just say hello! A reminder email will be sent that morning.
