October 2-6
Walkersville High School
Message from the Principal
Dear Walkersville Community,
I hope our students had a fun week and continue to enjoy Homecoming festivities this evening and tomorrow at the dance. Just a reminder that all students with tickets must arrive prior to 8:00 for entry. As midterm is now over we are headed into the home stretch for term 1, which ends October 26th. Please make sure you are checking Schoology and reaching out to teachers with any questions. Don't forget that TutorMe is a great resource for students- they can access it 24/7 in their Clever Portal. Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Ware
Principal
Supervision of Younger Children at WHS Events
This is a reminder that while we love to see our whole community supporting our Lions, children are not permitted to be unsupervised during events. We want our events to be safe, orderly, and allow everyone to focus on cheering our students on. Please ensure that younger children are with adults at all times when visiting WHS. Thank you.
WHS has Two Students with Special Recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation!
Benjamin Atelsek and Samantha Maleson have been named Commended Students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. A letter of recognition has been presented to them and they will again be honored this spring at Senior Awards! Congratulations Ben & Samantha!
