SMCISD
Week of April 19
Remember the Name
SMHS Sophomore, Annie Wagner, won 1st place in the Engineering division, at the Regional Science Fair and advanced to the State level. Along with winning her division, Annie won the Wylie Award from Southwest Research Institute where she is planning to accept an invitation to attend YES Camp and a future internship to continue her research. This is a unique experience, as mostly juniors or seniors are offered a chance to intern. Post-grad, Annie plans to pursue a degree in aerospace engineering with the desire to ultimately land a job working for the Southwest Research Institute or NASA. Congratulations Ms. Wagner, SMCISD is extremely proud of you and trusts you will represent all of San Marcos well at camp and as you intern.
