Discovery Camp Impact 2024

Hey friends, we're so glad you've been referred or have been prompted to consider counseling with us this summer. Discovery Camp Impact has been a tremendous blessing for the Houston area's students, families, and churches for many decades. Our prayer is that summer camp is one of the many forms of discipleship in the life of students that bring them towards greater maturity in their faith journey.

For camp to be possible, we lean heavily on counselors like you. We're looking for those willing to come alongside students for a few days to guide them, teach them, listen, and disciple them. We're praying that you would consider joining us this summer at Discovery Camp Impact.

Discovery Camp is our 4-day camp experience open to all incoming 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade students. Camp Impact is a five day camp experience open to all incoming 10th, 11th, 12th and graduated seniors. This camp seeks to provide students with a chance to break away from their yearly routine and experience gospel-centered preaching, discipleship, community, and witness.

We believe that camp is a unique opportunity for students to congregate together for a short amount of time to Discover the beauty and truths of the Gospel, leading to a life-altering Impact on their lives, both at camp and afterwards. Our website is: https://dcampandimpact.weebly.com

PURPOSE OF CAMP:

• To hear Gospel-centered preaching

• To experience worship and discipleship with the universal church

• To disciple students towards the holiness and goodness of Jesus

Ratio & Needs of Camp

• We usually have around 150-175 students attend each camp (Discovery & Impact)
• We would need 30-35 counselors per camp to fulfill our intended ratio.
