Moving on Ceremony

Green Meadow will be hosting a Moving On Ceremony for grade 3 students on Friday 6/16 at 9:15 am in the front of the school building. All family members are invited to attend. Kids will perform one recorder song and three singing songs all from memory.

Mrs. Chang will be playing Pomp and Circumstance as students receive their certificates. Please be sure to park at Crowe Park on the day of the event. Please arrive no earlier than 8:45 am in order to allow for buses to park. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Online Bus Registration

The online bus registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open!

ANYONE who needs their student to take the bus MUST register this year, even if you receive the bus for free and/or live more than 2 miles from school.

1st Child $270.00
2nd Child, 3rd, 4th each $220.00

Families may apply for a fee waiver in July.

Even if your student has recieved free bus in the past, you MUST REGISTER FOR THE BUS.

Why? This allows us to know how many seats are available for the other students. Not all students who live more than 2 miles from school take the bus to school. It is difficult for us to know how many seats are left for those who live less than 2 miles. Please register for the bus so we can have a better estimate.

Las familias pueden solicitar una exención de tarifas en julio.

Incluso si su estudiante ha recibido autobús gratis en el pasado, DEBE REGISTRARSE PARA EL AUTOBÚS.

¿Por qué? Esto nos permite saber cuántos asientos hay disponibles para los otros estudiantes. No todos los estudiantes que viven a más de 2 millas de la escuela toman el autobús a la escuela. Es difícil para nosotros saber cuántos asientos quedan para aquellos que viven a menos de 2 millas. Regístrese en el autobús para que podamos tener una mejor estimación.

Teacher Tribute

Looking for a year and gift that makes a big difference? We invite you to consider the MEF teacher tribute program!

When you make a tax-deductible donation to MEF through the Teacher Tribute Program, MEF will send your child’s teacher (s) or any staff member (s) a letter and a magnet on your behalf thanking them for their dedication and exceptional teaching. (The amount of the donation will remain confidential.)

This year MEF funded 8 innovative grants to faculty and staff at Green Meadow providing school wide innovation and enrichment. This year grants include preschool music therapy, continuing the Vernal Pool program for second grade and a full and robust library of Decodable Readers for K-2, Bilingual Dyslexia Practitioner Training for Spanish Orton Gillingham, a Little Free Library, Calming spaces and Break Boards, the Green Thumb Wellness project and The HAT sound system pilot program.

Green Meadow Art Walk

Thank you to all parents / guardians who came to support the Art Department at the Green Meadow Art Walk. The students did a fabulous job preparing for the show. A special thank you to Ms. Vanaria for organizing the event!

Kindergarten Screening

Kindergarten Screening will be taking place on June 14, 15 and 16th. All parents / guardians should have already signed up for an appointment. This screening is for all NEW incoming Kindergarten students who are not presently in the preschool program.
