Giving Tuesday!
Give thanks a to our hard working PPCS teachers
Before the Thanksgiving holiday, the Parent CREW asked you to take a few minutes to give thanks to the PPCS teachers and staff who have worked so tirelessly to do their very best for our students during the extremely challenging circumstances presented by the ongoing pandemic. The Parent CREW plans to put together a video expressing our appreciation. We ask that you reflect on one of the following questions and then film your answer in a short (30 seconds) video . If you are more comfortable, we would also welcome still photos of you holding a sign that thanks our school staff. The deadline for photos and videos to be emailed to ppcsparentcrew@gmail.com has been extended to Dec. 4th.
Video Prompts:
- Describe a way that your child has grown during their time at PPCS.
- Give a specific example of a time that a PPCS teacher or staff member helped your child or your family.
- Describe a time that a PPCS teacher or staff member brightened your day
- Give a specific example of why you are grateful for the work of PPCS teachers and staff.
Please do not share any information about your family or your children that is highly personal or confidential.

PPCS and Bloom: "Healthy at Home" + pay it forward!
Moscow restaurant "Bloom" just launched a brand new "Healthy at Home" prepared meal service, which includes a pay it forward incentive.
Customers can buy a “Healthy at Home” meal, select “Feed a Family” and then choose Palouse Prairie Charter School as the recipient. Bloom will match it with a meal for a family in need at our school. Bloom will deliver the donated meals to PPCS on Fridays or Monday, to be given to families in our school community experiencing food insecurity.
The meals are healthy, made from scratch, and require minimal effort for a nice dinner. If you would like to participate in this program, just order your meal online, select the "Healthy at Home" program, and be sure to designate PPCS as your school.
