Storywalk Signs
Even a dog know how important reading is! Did you get a chance to see the Storywalk signs at the Bismarck Public Library? Missouri River Teacher Center is offering a new way to bring literacy into our community through Storywalks. These book pages and signs can be checked out for any indoor or outdoor space. We have three books currently available: Cat's Colors by Airlie Anderson, What Do You Do with a Tail Like This by Steve Jenkins and Robert Page, and Grumpy Monkey by Suzanne Lang. Small Group Reading Kits
One of the newest additions to the Missouri River Teacher Center is the addition of some small group reading kits. These kits include lessons for each title with comprehension, vocabulary and fluency goals. An excellent resource to engage 5 or 6 students as each enjoys specific authors, such as, Gary Soto, Ralph Fletcher and Linda Sue Park. Come into the Teacher Center and see the many titles we have available!
