Inspire, Engage, Empower
Vision: Inspiring students to be life-long learners and positive, contributing members of their community.
Mission: INSPIRING excellence by providing the foundation where students collaborate, think critically, and problem solve through ENGAGING opportunities that EMPOWER them to pursue their passions and life-long success
Four times each school year the State of Indiana requires all schools to review their Wellness Policy. We are currently reorganizing our Wellness Committee and are happy to extend an invitation to any parent interested in joining this team. As stewards of our community's well-being, we recognize the crucial role parents play in shaping a healthy and thriving environment for our students. With your constructive insights, we aim to foster a culture of wellness that benefits students, staff, and the community.
The East Noble Wellness Committee is dedicated to promoting wellness initiatives that encompass physical health and mental well-being. By collaborating with parents, we are confident our efforts will address the unique needs of our students, ensuring the support necessary for them to thrive.
Your involvement on the Committee will provide an opportunity to contribute ideas and feedback, participate in meaningful discussions, and influence the well-being of our students and staff.
If you are interested in participating in the Wellness Committee, please contact Mr. Roger Urick at rurick@eastnoble.net by the end of next week. The first meeting of the year is scheduled to be held in March. A copy of our current Wellness Policy is provided at the following LINK.
Whether you are interested in fitness, nutrition, mental health advocacy, or simply want to promote a positive school culture, your participation is welcome. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our students and staff, as well as promoting a culture of wellness within the East Noble community.
We appreciate your consideration of this invitation.
Thank you for choosing East Noble!
Dr. Teresa Gremaux, Superintendent

Squad Day at Rome City Involved Squad Crest Creations and More!
This past Friday, Rome City Elementary School had their Squad Day! This Squad Day consisted of the Squads coming together to create their family crest to symbolize each team with a word. The words for each squad were Optimism, Loyalty, Generosity, and Ambition. Squads went around and showed each other their crest they created. At a later time, one from each squad will be voted the best and will symbolizes their Squad Crest, similar to the house crests on Harry Potter. The Squads also got together and created fun handshakes that they will use with each other. At the end of Squad Day, they all got together in the gymnasium and were introduced to their Squad Gems, like house points! The way they get their gems to fill their jar will depend on their squads doing certain things throughout the remainder of the school year, and also fun games and challenges in the future. It was a great time for students in all grade levels to come together, be creative, and have fun.

Jennifer Straessle - Instructional Assistant - East Noble Middle School
"Mrs. Straessle is an invaluable asset to the 6th grade language arts and resource classrooms at ENMS. She assists both the teachers and students in so many ways. She builds relationships and make connections with the students as she is helping them with their reading and writing skills. She is caring when students are having a less than great day. She encourages and supports them. She is also there for her colleagues. She offers great insights and is always there to support us. East Noble Middle School appreciates all that Mrs. Straessle does every day!"
A little about Jennifer Straessle
Although I am not an East Noble alumnus, East Noble became our home 15 years ago when we moved to Avilla and our oldest son began kindergarten at Avilla Elementary. My husband Mike and I have four children who are making their way through East Noble Schools. Austin graduated in 2022, Logan is a junior, Peyton is a sophomore, and Alana is an 8th grader.
I graduated from Ivy Tech with a degree in Early Childhood Education but spent several years as a stay-at-home mom. I was offered a job at Cole YMCA after doing some subbing and spent 8 wonderful years teaching preschool. This is my 3rd year at East Noble Middle School in which I assist in the 6th grade. All the staff is amazing, and I have absolutely loved reconnecting with former preschool students.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time outdoors. We love to go camping and enjoy hanging out with friends, whether we are sitting by a bonfire or playing cards. However, I spend most of my free time at East Noble Boys soccer games, travel soccer and TC Dance.
I greatly appreciate the recognition and truly enjoy the staff and students I get to work with each day. I look forward to many more years at East Noble Middle School.
