Hello, Class of 2023 Parents and Students! With college application season upon us, we know it is helpful and necessary to begin to have conversations about how to pay for college! We invite you to our financial aid night to find the answer to your financial aid questions - What is FAFSA? Why is it important? What is Financial Aid? What are the different kinds of Financial Aid available for college? Do not miss out on this informative workshop! (Click to fill out Google Form)

School Meals will no longer be free. You child(ren) may qualify for free or reduced meals. Free and reduced forms will be sent home with students the first day of school along with a student contact form. Both forms are REQUIRED to be returned ASAP.

If you wish to waive the free & reduced application process, complete Step 1 & Step 4- and write “WAIVE PROCESS” in Step 3 and return to school.

The Norman Bird Sanctuary is inviting students at Rogers High School to volunteer at their Harvest Fair. This year’s fair is October 1 and 2, from 10am to 5pm each day, and is a great way to earn community service hours. We have a variety of volunteer roles over the weekend that are fit for high school students. Wednesday, September 14 @ 3:30pm - Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

This will be the first TAB meeting of the school year. TAB members decide programming, decorate the YA space seasonally, help build book displays and are even encouraged to run programs based on their own interests, if they wish. In September, we will be getting to know one another and walking through a fall program line up. Bring your ideas or comment on ours! YA librarians will sign off on community service hours for board members.

Thursdays, we are hoping will become Dungeons and Dragons day, but our DM's have not yet confirmed with us so, not this week.

Friday, September 16 @ 3:30pm - Silent Book Club
That's right, we are resurrecting the easiest way in town to earn cookies! Come to the library, read or do homework for one hour, get cookies. You can't beat it!
