Roman News February 2021
From the Principal's Desk...
Happy February, Everyone!
We have passed the 100 day marker! We have made it at least 100 days of school and survived wearing masks:) Although this year has been a challenging year with all things COVID related, our students and staff are still making things happen and keeping safe! I appreciate all of the families who are supporting us and helping with washing masks each weekend, calling into the office, and simply trying to stay in smaller groups on the weekend. All of these things are keeping us moving smoothly and helping everyone stay healthy.
Please consider purchasing special Valentines through the school this year! With COVID, we are unable to have a carnival. Our school carnival is one of our biggest money makers. Our Valentine fundraiser, if it goes well, will help us make up some of our loss from not having a carnival for two years.
Please continue to wash your children's masks, make sure they are eating well, and getting plenty of sleep. These things will help keep germs at a minimum and will help keep your children's immunity up.
Please make sure your children have a healthy breakfast and is on time to school. Being late and leaving early on testing days can actually cause children to be frazzled when they are taking a test.
