Health Office Medication Pick Up
If your student has medication and you need it before the scheduled June pick up date, a parent or another adult with your written authorization will need to come to the office to pick it up. The health clerk or the office staff will be in the office to help you with this between 8:00am-3:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Any medication not picked up by 3:00pm on Thursday, May 21st will be available for pick up in June during your scheduled pick up date. If you choose to wait until June to pick up medications or if you prefer to keep medications locked up until August, please send an email to Linda England letting her know this.
If you plan to come to the school to pick up medications, you must wear a mask and keep a safe social distance of 6 feet, if there are other people waiting. Please ring the bell and state that you are there to pick up medication for your student. We will ask that you wait outside. Someone will grab the medication and the log sheet and hand it to you outside of the door. You will need to sign the medication log and hand it back to us. This acknowledges that you have picked up the medication.
Please contact Linda England at england_linda@svvsd.org if you have any questions.
Thank you
Student Checkout
We will begin the process of student checkout and material pick up between June 8th-26th. In an effort to comply with social distancing regulations, we will have student belongings bagged, labeled and ready for pick up. Items will include class photos. If your child participated in 100 Mile Club, their certificate and earned prizes will also be in the bag.
Your student does not need to be with you for the pick up, and we ask you to stay in your vehicle as you drive through the Hug-and-Go Lane and staff will assist you there. To help us keep the line moving efficiently, it would be helpful if you would write your child(ren)’s name and teacher(s) on a large piece of paper and display it on your dashboard.
We are asking that you pick up materials during the following dates/times. If you have children in multiple grade levels, please choose the grade level date that works best for you.

If your family checked out an iPad at the district resource center, please keep it over the Summer and we will communicate with you in the Fall about how/when to return it. If your child will not be returning to the district in the Fall, please return their iPad on your scheduled date.

Innovation Academy Online
Does your child thrive in situations where thinking, solving, collaborating, and brainstorming are the norm? Innovation Academy is an exciting summer program in partnership with IBM and taught by St. Vrain Valley School District educators, IBM Volunteers, and other SVVSD High School Students. This program has brought Design Thinking and Real-World Problem Solving to St Vrain students for the past nine years.
This is the first time that the program will be held online and will be open to all elementary students throughout SVVSD without a nomination. If your child is completing kindergarten through 5th grade this May, they are eligible to enroll. Wondering if this is a good fit for your child? Does your child display the following characteristics on a regular basis? See the flyer below or go straight to the WEBSITE to read more about IAO and enroll your child for an exciting summer opportunity. Registration opens May 1!
