Dear Families,

Today students and staff had a blast during our Health and Fitness Day!

We are grateful to our community volunteers who ran stations to provide our students with a fabulous experience. We will share photos in the next update.

Third term report cards were sent home with your student(s) today. Please review this document and sign the receipt. Students should return the receipt to their homeroom teacher on when school resumes on Monday, April 24, 2023.

We hope all out students have a fantastic week off!

National Junior Honor Society News

National Junior Honor Society News:

National Junior Honor Society students need to complete FIVE hours of community service. We have been invited to help out during Waltham's City Wide Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 22nd. Students can sign up to volunteer at this event in the National Junior Honor Society Google Classroom Page. I will be sending in a list of students who will be volunteering on Wednesday, April 19th, so please have your child sign up by the 19th. At our last meeting I introduced a service project to the NJHS students. We will be making Homeless Care Kits. Students were given a ziplock bag and a list of items to purchase. The Dollar Tree Store would be a great resource. All kits are due May 1st. More information is available on our NJHS Google Classroom Page, so please ask your child to review the items to purchase for the kits. Our next National Junior Honor Society meeting will be Thursday, May 18th after school in the cafeteria. Make-ups will take place April 25 and 27

Math Grades 6-8: May 17 and 18

Science and Technology: Grade 8 only: May 23 and 24

Attention Grade 8 Families

If your student will NOT be attending Waltham High School next year, please let grade 8 counselor Gelen Zepeda know. We need this information for scheduling purposes and records release.
