Happy Sunday Harrington Families!!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend this weekend! Yesterday was a spectacular day outside, it seemed like the whole state was out and about getting the most of the beautiful weather and then we have today?? Reality that we are indeed in the Fall came into full realization today and will for sure moving forward.
We had a wonderful turnout for the HPTO's Trunk or Treat this afternoon, Harrington families braved the weather and come out in droves to come and trick or treat through our decorated trunks. We had lots of smiles and alot of laughs this afternoon, I was so pleased to see the amazing turnout and I thank our HPTO for consistently holding such fantastic school wide events for the entire community to enjoy.
Reminder for our Costume for a Cause that is happening on Tuesday, for the students that will be wearing costumes, please remember to leave at home scary masks, and any simulated weapons or individual accessories. Also, students are more than welcome to not wear a costume on Tuesday. Money raised through our Costume for a Cause will be donated to Table of Plenty. Also on Tuesday, we will be welcoming Chris Poulos for a school wide assembly. Chris Poulos is world champion athlete, youth motivational speaker, and aspiring author who shares powerful life lessons as he demonstrates amazing bicycle stunts. He specializes in core values, anti-bullying, and character education.
Harrington wants to offer support to families in need of additional resources throughout the school year. We are able to help families in a variety of ways through assistance with field trips, holiday meals or gifts, winter outdoor attire, and more! With the resources that are available to us, we will do our best to meet the needs of all families. If your family is in need, please complete the following form at your earliest convenience. Click here: Harrington Family Resources to access the form.
If you do not feel comfortable completing this form but would benefit from the resources, please contact our school counselor, Lindsay Rhames, at albertl@chelmsford.k12.ma.us or 978-251-5166 ext.6123 and she will be happy to assist you.
I will remind families that drive on school grounds to pick up their students and drop off their students that smoking is prohibited on school grounds. If a staff member does witness smoking in vehicles on school grounds, they will kindly ask you to stop smoking, this includes vaping devices. I appreciate your support in adhering to no smoking on the school grounds.
Once again, remember to…"Push through your day, Smile, Be Happy, Stay Positive!"
Be safe! Stay well!
