We love to recognize our students that were true to their PRIDE Promise. The students pictured were chosen for being respectful, kind, helpful, and an overall good role model for other students. We appreciate them and love that they set such wonderful examples for other students. Way to go!

We cannot believe that Thanksgiving is almost here! We want to take this time to wish all of our Jefferson Families a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for all you do to support us in helping your child learn and grow. This is just a reminder that we will have school on Wednesday, November 24th, and we will be off on Thursday, November 25th, through Monday, November 29th. We will see everyone back at school on Tuesday, November 30th! Enjoy this time with family and friends.

On Thursday, November 11th, we celebrated Veterans Day with an assembly that included our 5th-grade class and veteran guests with the rest of the student body watching on Facebook live.

We would like to thank all of our veterans for their service and sacrifices. We are forever grateful! If you know a veteran or see one, please remember to thank them on this special day!

Mark your calendars for our upcoming Scholastic book fair. The dates are November 30th through December 3rd. You will have the opportunity to buy books online or your child can buy books right here at school. Mrs. Valaitis will be sending home a flyer before Thanksgiving with all the detailed information you will need!

For those of you that have not completed your returning student information for this school year, please do so ASAP. A link has been sent to your email if you have not submitted the information. Without updated emergency contacts and information, students may not be permitted to go on field trips. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

All 4th-grade students will be performing in a music program on Friday, November 19th from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The concert will be at the Performing Arts Center at North High School.

As the weather cools down, please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately. It has definitely been a lot cooler lately! We will be going outside for recess so please make sure that your child brings a coat, hat, and gloves, especially if the weather projected for this weekend is right in predicting snow!

Our picture retake day is on November 23rd. If your child was absent on picture day, mark your calendar for November 23rd. Photographers will be here to photograph your child. If you were not satisfied with your child's picture and would like them to retake their picture, you must send the entire package back on retake day. More information about ordering online is on the order form.
