EDUCATOR OF THE WEEK
Congratulations to Mr. Matt Murphy, this week's Educator of the Week. Mr. Murphy is the talented Math Coordinator at the FBMS.
Mr. Murphy began his career in the MPSD in 2006. He has taught all sections of math at the FBMS and in 2013 he moved into the position of Math Coordinator. He is a fantastic educator and strong department leader who is always trying to improve the educational experience for the students.
Principal Kemmett added that, "Mr. Murphy is a fantastic educator who consistently exhibits a strong commitment to teaching and learning. In the classroom, he works tirelessly to ensure his students have a deep understanding of math and he has a unique ability to make complex concepts relatable to his students." She went on to note that, "Mr. Murphy is highly respected by his peers and the school and district’s leadership team and is often sought after for his insightful advice and guidance. His commitment to excellence, coupled with his creative approach to teaching and his desire to support every student he works with makes him an ideal candidate for the MPSD Educator of the Week."
We are so fortunate to have Mr. Murphy on our team and we congratulate him for being named our Educator of the Week!!
8TH GRADE OPEN HOUSE AT MHS
MHS Principal Cetner, her leadership team, various MHS staff and dozens of students held an informative Open House for our 8th grade students and their families this week. The special guests were able to see some of the amazing programs at the MHS and learned about clubs, activities and a variety of curriculum options.
There was a tremendous turnout from the FBMS and they heard first-hand, from students, staff and even some graduates, about what opportunities await them at the MHS. Here a few pictures from the special night.
DIVISION 2 SUPER BOWL AT GILLETTE STADIUM
Congratulations to the Marshfield Rams football team for a memorable season. They played hard every game and always did it the right way. Getting to Gillette is something the coaches, players and the community will never forget.
Our cheerleaders and dance team along with our talented band were also amazing all year long. Thanks to all of them for a great season! #WeRMarshfield

MEF FALL GIVING CAMPAIGN
We Are Better Together.
The Marshfield Education Foundation (MEF) supports the Marshfield Public School District by providing critical seed funding for grants submitted by teachers for innovative programs that motivate and excite their students and achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
As we enter the season of giving, we hope you’ll consider supporting the Marshfield Education Foundation with a donation to our 4th Annual Fall Giving Campaign. Since 2010, the MEF has been able to fund over 200 grants reaching every school in the District. This would not be possible without generous donations from people like you, our community, and our local business sponsors.
Through the support of the Marshfield community, we have been able to support many innovative and creative programs in coding and robotics, reading and literacy, performing and visual arts, virtual reality and CAD design, physical fitness, and outdoor classrooms. Your donation and support directly impacts the students and teachers of the Marshfield community. Together, we can raise the necessary funds to be able to continue to fulfill our mission of providing innovative and creative programs to the classrooms.
