The first family advisory night of the year will take place on October 4th at 6pm in the Wagner Library. This event is IN PERSON!! Hope to see you there!
Covid Protocol
In recent weeks, New York City has seen an uptick in COVID cases. For the current school year, New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) has revised their COVID policies. Schools are no longer required to send home Covid tests when there is a positive case in a classroom, letters to the community will not be sent home, and students who are home with Covid will not receive remote instruction.
Starting next week, we will be sending home two Covid test kits with every student. As always, if your child is not feeling well, we do encourage you to get your child tested and keep them home. If your child tests positive please email Ms. Oberlander at kmueller10@schools.nyc.gov. Additionally, they must isolate for five days and when returning on day 6, wear a mask through day 10.

We are excited to host a Spaghetti Dinner in the cafeteria for 6th graders and their families. We hope this is a chance to welcome all of you to Wagner and for you to have a chance to meet-up with other 6th grade families. We would like to get a sense of how many families might attend to ensure we have the right amount of food, tables, etc. Please use this form to indicate your interest. This does not commit you or your family to attend. Please indicate your interest using the form linked here: Interest Form
The event has a suggested donation of $5 per person. Additionally, this event will support the NY Common pantry with the collection of unopened boxes of pasta for donation.

Urban Advantage Family Days are Back!
Wagner's participation in a program called Urban Advantage allows Wagner students and families access to many science related institutions across the city. On Friday 9/29, students will receive a flyer for Family Science Days at the American Museum of Natural History, NY Hall of Science, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Queens Botanical Garden, Staten Island Zoo, Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium, and NY Botanical Garden.
This flyer gives families free access to these institutions on specific days where there are special events and activities happening.
We hope you will take advantage of these opportunities!
