Happy November! Are you getting ready for the holidays? Whether it's Thanksgiving preparations, Christmas shopping, or another holiday you honor, this is the season when we get ready to CELEBRATE, and doTERRA has given us reasons and ways to celebrate, too! If you follow me or my page on Facebook or Instagram, you likely saw some photos and updates from my trip to Tanzania last month. Now that I'm back, I'll be working on a video project, too. I had an amazing trip, my most productive and meaningful one yet. I loved developing deeper relationships with our Tanzanian friends and ministry partners, working with the orphans and Bible school students, and documenting the completion of our Healing Hands projects. I am so grateful to you, my team and customers, for your support but also for being a part of the Clearly Essential community. God has used the opportunity to build this business with dōTERRA to open doors for the ministry and allow me the freedom of time and finances to support IEO and make a bigger impact in Tanzania. A perfect appetizer for a Middle Eastern meal, this tabbouleh recipe replaces the classic bulgur found in the Levantine dish with quinoa. Feel free to experiment with other herbs and fruits, or even substitute the quinoa with couscous. You'll find that the dressing is both tasty and forgiving. Try the new White Grapefruit in this recipe, too!

Ingredients

Soap
4–6 squares white coconut milk soap base
4 drops Grapefruit or White Grapefruit oil

Natural dye
¼ teaspoon Maca powder

Because of the similarity in chemical diversity, the fir oils have similar benefits. However, differences in chemical dominance mean that each oil is specialized for a particular form of use. Take Siberian Fir, for instance, with its primary compounds being bornyl acetate, camphene, and alpha-pinene. Camphene is known for having properties that help promote clear healthy breathing. Bornyl acetate affects the pigment of the skin. Daily topical application of essential oils high in bornyl acetate may actually help lighten the skin tone. Alpha-pinene is calming and relaxing, and it exerts its effects by acting on GABA receptors*.
