Attendance Binders: Ensure that you are adding your attendance notes to your grade level binders on a weekly basis. All letters from parents should be in the binder.

STAFF MEETING on TUESDAY the 29th - We will meet for our monthly staff meeting a week from Tuesday after school. Please bring a charged laptop, an open mind and your active participation.

If you have experimented with mindful moments in the classroom please share.

We are approaching the end of the first quarter. Grading Window November 4th - 6th. Please ensure that you have a balance of Classwork, Homework, Assessments and Projects. Refrain from adding numerous grades prior to the window closing that will drastically change a student's grade.

Students who have EARNED their monthly incentive may wear jerseys and jeans Friday. Please make sure parents of those students are notified. If students are not participating please communicate with families the reason. We want to encourage positive behavior in the classrooms.

There is a severe shortage of substitute teachers right now. When you are planning to be out for professional leave, personal leave, or even sick leave, please submit your leave as soon as possible. Last minute requests for professional and personal leave will be denied if you are unable to obtain substitute coverage. If you put in for professional and personal leave at least 3 days in advance, we will make provisions to cover your class. However, the last minute requests, really put your colleagues and students in a difficult situation. We cannot continue to pull our support staff to cover last minute requests. As last resorts, we may have to split classes for last minute sick leave/call-outs. PLEASE put your leave in as soon as you know you are going to be out!

If you know of anyone that is interested in becoming a substitute teacher, please ask them to send me their resume. I will help get them processed quickly.ALSO...... if you put in for professional leave and a substitute does not pick up the job please make Mrs. Walker or myself aware and we will make the decision regarding coverage.
