Frohes Fest! (Deutsch for Happy Holidays)
Happy Holidays! Whether you say Merry Christmas, Féliz Navídad, or Mele Kalikimaka ("Merry Christmas" in Hawaiian), this is the season of giving, festivity and family. This newsletter is dedicated to the many ways winter, spirituality, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and many more festivities are celebrated around the world. Cheers to time-off, great food, thoughtful presents and peace to us all!
Movie Licensing & How to AVOID trouble!
As we're winding down for the first semester and gearing up for the holidays, here's a friendly reminder on the policies for showing ANY MOVIE in the classroom. We DO have a license via Swank Movie Licensing. Please read the graphic and visit the website for specific details. The last thing we want is a charge from the sleeper copyright agents trying to snitch to get a trip to Disneyworld. ;)
He's About to Have the WORST Christmas EVER!!!
Rick Scroogeman HATES Christmas. He can't stand the carols and the pageants. He can't stand the lights and the mistletoe. But what he hates the most is having to watch the old movie version of A Christmas Carol every year at school. Since his name is Scroogeman, all of his classmates start calling him Scrooge. And he hates being called Scrooge. But everything starts to change when three ghosts visit him. At first he thinks it's a dream. But then he realizes that it might be a nightmare--a nightmare that could become real. Listen to the 1st chapter! Or come check it out from the Snake-pit...if you're brave enough!
