Crosswell Chronicle
Week of March 27th-March 31st
It was great to see so many families Tuesday night at our 2nd Grade Musical and this week for Spring Conferenes! It is a busy time of year and we appreciate the support you show to our school and your children!
There are two separate surveys we are asking parents to complete! One survey is from the state department Climate Survey and one is our Leader in Me MRA. Please help us to showcase our amazing school and help us to improve by completing both of these surveys for us! We value your input! Detals for both below!
We have had an influx of late arrivals and parents who are not signing in students each morning. School starts at 8:00 AM each day and the desire is for students to be in their seat at that time. Beginning tomorrow, Officer Young will be at the door motioning for parents to come inside and sign-in their student(s) for late arrival. Please plan to pull forward, park, and enter the building if you arrive after 8:00 AM. Please contact the front office with any questions.
Check out the dates below as we plan for our last nine weeks of school!

4K-5th Grade Rad Kids Update
In order to be in compliance with Erin’s Law for the state, Mrs. Powell will be addressing the topic of Good/Bad/Uncomfortable or Unwanted touch as part of the RadKids curriculum during your child’s PE time one day this week. To address this topic, the book, Sam’s Secret, will be read. You can find a copy of this book in the RadKids family handbook that was given when your child was in K5. For our 4K students, the book Your Body Belongs to You will be shared to address this topic. If you have any questions, please contact our school counselor, Mrs. Powell.

March Habit of the Month: Habit 6 Synergize
Synergy is celebrating differences, working together, being open minded, and finding new and better ways. This means that I know everyone is good at something. I know that everyone needs to get better at something, and I know that we can all learn something from each other. Working in groups helps create better ideas than what one person can do alone. Together is better!
And as always...LEARN LIKE A CHAMPION!
