New!!! Mobile Lending Library Park Days

We are so excited to have our new Mobile Lending Library joining us at our CC Park Days. Please see the flyer above for dates and times. Each Community Coordinator has created a flyer for their own specific event as well below. This will be a chance for you to turn in and check out materials right there on the spot! The Mobile Lending Library will be bringing with them some fun, educational Math and Art activities for your students to participate in. We hope you'll take advantage of this exciting new experience!

What is Community Connections?

Each month we will have at least 2 activities for families to participate in*.

These have all been designed and created with suggestions from YOU, the Community Coordinators, and with geographic areas in mind. Currently, we have Middle and High School Community Connections Events in the High Desert, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario/Chino, and Redlands!


There are also Middle and High School specific events in the Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands and Ontario/Chino area, check out the newsletter here!



*Please keep in mind that CC Events are not drop-off nor are the CC staff responsible for supervising students at these events. Parents are responsible for providing supervision of their children for every Community Connection activity, event, and field trip. Families may work together to carpool, but an adult must be present at all activities.

SHAPING WOOD SHAPING ARTIST- GUIDED TOUR

Shaping Wood, Shaping Artists presents a new perspective on the art and craft of master woodworker Sam Maloof. The exhibit tells the story of how Sam Maloof Created his furniture ("Shaping Wood") and how his generous spirit encouraged the careers of so many local artists ("Shapin Artists.")



The visit will include a visit to the Sam Maloof Art Exhibit, Art Workshop, and a guided tour of the history focused on Ontario.

Lifehouse Theater Play: Women Warriors

In this one-woman performance, author and actress Annette Hubbell brings to life the extraordinary stories of ordinary women who transformed themselves, paved the way for others, and left the world a better place.
